Update on Current Activities + Notice of Annual General Meeting 2023
Dear Member,
We are excited to update you on our current activities and some of the positive changes that we are making to our plan. We continue to provide exceptional care to all our members. Our turnaround time for processing claims is commendable and reflects the quality service that we strive for.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
The last increase in subscriptions was over 3 years ago. Since then, there have been numerous increases in the open market. Our changes come into effect from April 2023 and can be viewed here – subscription-changes-2023.pdf
BENEFIT AMENDMENTS
In conjunction with an actuarial review of our plan and extensive research, we are introducing some amendments to the plan from April. You can view them here – benefit-changes-2023.pdf
BROCHURE
We have revised the format of our brochure to make it more user-friendly and to group related benefits together. This product Information will be updated on our website in due course and which you can view here – product-info-sheet-2023.pdf
ANNUAL CLAIMS
We have now processed 3,000 annual claims with over 25,000 receipts on your behalf. We remind any member who has not submitted an annual to do so as the closing date for receipt of annuals with respect to 2022 is 31st March 2023. We accept GP receipts and Consultant receipts for any visits during 2022 and Dentist receipts for treatment during 2022 on the annual claim form.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2023
The Annual General Meeting of the Society will be held on Wednesday the 24th May 2023 at 3pm in the Ashling Hotel Dublin (Eircode D08 P38N). Resolutions with respect to rule changes for discussion at the AGM should be posted to the Secretary at the Society’s offices to arrive no later than 4pm on 11th April. Should a member wish to propose a rule change, the proposal must be clearly stated and signed by two Members of the Society accompanied by their Membership numbers.
